When The Specials Laboratory entered the market a decade ago, the average leadtime was sometimes two weeks. We never quite understood this, so offered our customers a standard 48 hour delivery service from day one. Nine years wiser, we haven’t become a bloated corporate outfit. Our promise since the day we started was to provide you with an unbeatable level of service . Focused as ever, over 80% of your orders are now delivered within 24 hours, with virtually all remaining items arriving within 48 hours.
Your orders can be placed by telephone (answer phone service for out of hours calls), fax, online or via email. Goods are dispatched via our courier partner, ensuring delivery before 12.00pm the following day. If a speedier delivery is required, we offer same day delivery.
We also offer special arrangements for deliveries over the Easter and Christmas/New Year holiday periods. Our existing customers are routinely notified by post of arrangements for delivery. If you have any requests for these details, they can be sent by fax or email and details will also be posted on this website.
We currently also operate a scheme for customers with “NE” and “DH” postcodes – orders placed by 11.30am (manufactured items) and 13.00pm (wholesale items) will be delivered the same day. This service has proven to be very successful and will be expanded in the near future.
