Proud of our ethical values, we like to play an active role in the local and wider community. Since 1999, The Specials Laboratory has played a key role in both the regional and trade community.
Well before anyone had even thought up the term Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we were interacting and engaging with local charities, schools, colleges, universities and various trade associations.
The amount of community activity we do at The Specials Laboratory is ultimately reflective of the strong ethical values the company has been built on and the nature of the talented and kind staff we have in the business.

Science in the community As part of our ongoing community programme at The Specials Laboratory, we continue to engage with schools, colleges and universities in the North East and across the UK.

Community Foundation The Specials Lab continues to support local charities and good causes in Northumberland.

Young Enterprise Having sponsored the Young Enterprise initiative for many years, The Specials Laboratory is proud to support grass-roots entrepreneurship in the North East.

Halfway House & Rosehill Club (football sponsorship) The Specials Laboratory continues to support local football teams Halfway House and Rosehill Club to help ensure their future and assist in the bid for silverware.

Prudhoe High School Film Festival As a big fan of the movies, The Specials Laboratory this year sponsored the film festival at the local Prudhoe High School. "Here's looking at you, kid."
